Custom Shades

As a professional service to our customers, Oral Designs Dental Lab provides Custom Shades. Utilize Oral Designs' Shading Area as an extension of your dental practice to assure optimal shade matching.

Shades are taken in a professional setting with a neutral background, under color corrective lighting, for the most accurate results. All custom shades are taken by our experienced cosmetics technicians using the latest shade guides from Vita and Ivoclar and a Shade Wand for perfect lighting.

To insure the aesthetics and vitality you desire for your patients, send them to our lab. They can comfortably watch a flat screen tv while a custom shade is identified to match their natural teeth's value, chroma, and hue.

Step 1: CUSTOM SHADE:
Patient comes into lab to have a custom shade taken.
Usually takes 10-15 minutes.

Step 2: SHADE VERIFICATION:
To insure that the patient it happy with the restoration color and characteristics, our
technicians will call your patient to come back into the lab to check the shade.

Because Custom Shading depends on your patient’s available schedule, please allow for additional days for restoration completions. Feel free to call us to check estimated delivery dates.
